Every year, usually the last week of the month I start planning and goal setting for the upcoming year. What do I want to grow sales by? Social media wants and how to get there? Hiring plan? How am I going to stay out of the weeds with inventory and on schedule with production? What new flavors can I offer or new products that will make customers happy? It can be overwhelming but planning is how growth happens. Every year it’s how we get better, add more retailers and help people eat better jam.
One of the things I have decided is to do less work traveling and focus on more events close to home, growing Florida wholesale and working on online everything. I also plan on eating better (every year) along with spending more time outdoors with family and my fur babies. All of this is easily said but it’s a matter of looking beyond today for the big picture while still being laser focused on the 24 hour span directly in front of me and taking those tiny steps to move the business forward.
